GitCar is a "registered dealer only" wholesale marketplace for "AS IS" vehicles .
Get Started - How?
Simply complete the the registration form and you can begin buying and selling within 24 hours.
Experiencing Issues while using the website - What should I do?
Submit the request via our Contact us form 24/7 and GitCar support will assist you to resolve the issue during normal business hours.
Become an Approved Dealer - How do I register?
Simply complete the online registration form.Once you click the “Register” button, please send a copy of your dealer license, state tax license and W9 to info@gitcar.net.
Is GitCar open to the public?
No, you must be a licensed dealer to be able to register on the marketplace platform.
Registration Process - How long will it take?
One we receive a copies of your license information, your account should be active within a couple of hours.
Login Information - How do I receive mine?
Your login will be your email address and the password will be what you entered at the time of registration.
Forgot Password - What do I do?
Click the “Forgot Password?” link in the "Login Form" on the homepage or in the toolbar.
How do I enter a bid?
Simply login and depending on the buying options selected for the vehicle(s) you have, you will either be able to enter a Bid, make Offer or Buy Now.
Vehicle Location - Where are they located?
The vehicle location can be found on the inventory and vehicle details pages. You can search and sort by city and state on the inventory page.
Changing or canceling a bid - Is it possible?
No. You have no ability to edit your bid amount or cancel it. After the bid is submitted, it is final. After the bidding period ends, the highest bidder will win the vehicle.
Bidding Period on GitCar - How long?
You can bid on a vehicle up until the vehicle has been sold or the listing ended (time expired). The duration of each listing is determined by the seller and vary from 1 to 21 days.
Highest Bidder - How will I know?
You will be notified by email.
Making Payments - Timeline?
Winning bidders must submit payment within 24 hours of the conclusion of the sale.
Vehicle Payment- How do I pay for my vehicle?
The quickest form of payment is wire transfer 1-2 days. Instructions with wire transfer information will be sent via email after the transaction is completed. We do accept Debit/Credit and ACH but could take up to 6 business days to process.
Delivery of Vehicles - Is it possible with GitCar?
No. The winning bidder is responsible for arranging his/her own vehicle transport.
Confirmation for vehicle payment - How will I be notified?
All payments will be processed electronically.
